Terms and Conditions
I, ________________________________, volunteer to participate in Ride + Reflect LLC (“Ride + Reflect”) classes, programs, private sessions and/or workshops, including, but not limited to indoor cycling, yoga, meditation, HIIT, social activities, outdoor activities, yoga teacher training, indoor cycling training, HIIT training, nutrition and wellness advice, and any live-stream, video, or audio content (each, a “Ride + Reflect Activity” and together, the “Ride + Reflect Activities”), which may entail intensive physical activity and exertion by me (sometimes conducted in a heated room - approximately 100 degrees Fahrenheit). I recognize that such physical activity and exertion may be difficult and strenuous and may cause or aggravate a physical injury or medical condition.
I understand that it is my responsibility to consult with a physician prior to and regarding my participating in any Ride + Reflect Activities and to receive prior approval to participate. I represent and warrant that I am physically fit and I
have no medical condition or injury which would prevent or limit my full participation in any Ride + Reflect Activities. I further acknowledge that there are hazards which may exist in any exercise program, and I accept full responsibility for any risks, conditions, injuries, or damages, known or unknown, which I might incur or aggravate as a result of my participating in any Ride + Reflect Activities.
I understand that I will learn about health and fitness during a Ride + Reflect Activity, and I understand that Ride + Reflect is not a medical organization and its instructors or staff cannot provide me with any medical advice or diagnosis. Nothing contained in the content, or included during the course, of any of Ride + Reflect Activities should be construed as any form of such medical advice or diagnosis.
I understand that instructors are available to sometimes physically adjust students during a class or workshop. It is my responsibility to communicate to the instructor if I do not want physical adjustments. Also, in the event that I allow a physical adjustment or assistance, I understand that it is my responsibility to inform the instructor to stop the adjustment/assistance if it is not what I expected and/or wanted.
I give Ride + Reflect permission to use my image in any advertising or promotional material. I understand classes may occasionally be photographed or videoed for promotional use, and I also give my permission for my image to be used this way.
I understand that Ride + Reflect is in no way responsible for the safekeeping of my personal belongings.
Live-Streaming, Video, and Audio Content
I recognize that physical exercise and movement, in all of its forms and with or without the use of equipment such as weights, blocks, straps, or any other equipment that may be suggested by a Ride + Reflect instructor, can be very strenuous. Accordingly, I understand it is my responsibility to seek the advice of a physician before beginning any physical or movement exercise regimen, routine, or program, and before using any suggested equipment, presented in any of the live-stream, video, or audio content provided by Ride + Reflect.
I understand that I am not required to perform or carry out any of the suggestions and/or comments relating to the use of equipment, poses, moves, and instruction given in Ride + Reflect live-stream content, video content, or audio content. I understand that it is at my election to exercise while viewing or listening to a Ride + Reflect video, audio, or live-stream content. Nothing contained in the content of any such classes should be construed as any form of medical advice or diagnosis.
By using the live-stream, video, or audio services of Ride + Reflect, I represent that I understand that physical exercise involves strenuous physical activity and that such activity carries the risk of injury, whether physical or mental. I understand that it is my responsibility to judge my physical and mental capabilities for such activities. I understand that it is my responsibility to ensure that by participating in live-stream, video, or audio content provided by Ride + Reflect, I will not exceed my capabilities while participating in any such Ride + Reflect Activities, and I will select the appropriate level of activity for my skills and abilities, as well as for any physical or mental conditions and/or limitations I may have. I recognize that, from time to time, instructors may suggest physical adjustments or the use of equipment, and I understand that it is my sole responsibility to determine if any such suggested adjustment or use of equipment is appropriate for my level of ability and physical and mental condition.
Coronavirus/COVID-19
The novel coronavirus, COVID-19, has been declared a worldwide pandemic by the World Health Organization. COVID-19 is extremely contagious and is believed to spread mainly from person-to-person contact. As a result, federal, state, and local governments and federal and state health agencies recommend social distancing and have, in many locations, prohibited the congregation of groups of people. Ride + Reflect has put in place preventative measures to reduce the spread of COVID-19; however, Ride + Reflect cannot guarantee that you will not become infected with COVID-19. Further, attending live Ride + Reflect Activities could increase your risk of contracting COVID-19. By signing this Client Waiver and Release, I acknowledge the extremely contagious nature of COVID-19, and I voluntarily assume the risk that I may be exposed to or infected by COVID-19 by attending live Ride + Reflect Activities and that such exposure or infection may result in personal injury, illness, permanent disability, and death. I understand that the risk of becoming exposed to or infected by COVID-19 at live Ride + Reflect Activities may result from the actions, omissions, or negligence of myself and others, including, but not limited to, Ride + Reflect employees, agents, and independent contractors, as well as other program participants in live Ride + Reflect Activities, and including all of their families.
I voluntarily agree to assume all of the foregoing risks and accept sole responsibility for any injury (including, but not limited to, personal injury, disability, and death), illness, damage, loss, claim, liability, or expense of any kind that I may experience or incur in connection with my attendance at or participation in Ride + Reflect Activities (“Claims”). I, for myself, my heirs, or my legal representatives hereby release, waive, covenant not to sue, discharge, and hold harmless Ride + Reflect LLC, its owners, landlord, employees, agents, and independent contractors of and from any Claims, including all liabilities, claims, actions, damages, costs, or expenses of any kind arising out of any Claims or in relation thereto. I understand and agree that this Client Waiver and Release includes any Claims based on the actions, omissions, or negligence of Ride + Reflect LLC, its owners, landlord, employees, agents, and independent contractors.
I have read this Client Waiver and Release and fully understand its contents. I voluntarily agree to all of the terms and conditions stated above.
