Jule H.
"I do yoga, so I know what to do when I'm NOT doing yoga."
(E-500hr RYT) Jule has been studying and practicing yoga since
2005; she believes "Yoga isn't always a workOUT, but work in." Although
her journey started as a purely physical one, enjoying how the postures
restored & strengthened her body after long Alaskan wilderness
adventures, the practice's more subtle aspects were unveiled during her
teacher trainings & ashram experiences in India. Jule studied at
Rishikish Yoga Peeth, receiving her 200 hour teaching certificate in
2012 & 300 hour certificate in 2013.

Her teaching style is fun, motivational & insightful. She encourages
healthy alignment & mindful movement with breath. Jule enjoys sharing
yoga philosophy & Ayurvedic insight while teaching. Her classes
incorporate movement (asana), breath (pranayama), and awareness
(sattva); hoping all yogis get to experience a true "flow" state & leave
feeling physically and mentally restored with a sense of stillness in
both mind and body. Nothing brings her more joy than sharing this joy
with others!

Jule also loves taking her yoga practice outside & spending time in
nature; she owns and operates Alaska Yoga Adventures, specializing in
wilderness yoga retreats & trips.

Jule is also an Ayurvedic Practitioner recognized by the National
Association of Ayurvedic Medicine (NAMA) and has completed over 1700
hours of Ayurveda training & clinical supervision. Her specialty is
integrating Ayurveda alongside mental health counseling, helping people
on their path towards physical, mental & spiritual wellness.
